The Wolseley

People visit The Wolseley when they want to impress. Chandeliers hang from tall, arched ceilings at this grand brasserie on Piccadilly. With its marble pillars and monochrome floor tiles, you could be forgiven for thinking you’re in 1920s Vienna or Paris.

Chandeliers hang from tall, arched ceilings at this grand brasserie on Piccadilly. With its marble pillars and monochrome floor tiles, you could be forgiven for thinking you’re in 1920s Vienna or Paris.

It’s best known for its breakfast, so go early to try kedgeree, pancakes stacked high with berries or poached eggs and smoked salmon on toast. It also serves afternoon tea and a late-night menu.

If you want to pop the question or host a business meeting, there’s a private dining room which overlooks the main hall.
